1. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of data when you use the AZ Learn platform:

Account Identity Information: Full name, university email address, mobile phone number, academic institution, and grade level.
Authentication & Security Data: Password cryptographic hashes (salted SHA-256) and temporary one-time verification tokens (OTP). Raw passwords are never stored.
Device Hardware Fingerprints: Device identifier (Android ID, Windows hardware hash, or iOS vendor UUID), device model, and operating system version, strictly for single-device hardware slot enforcement.
Curriculum Progress & Telemetry: Course enrollments, video lecture playback positions (seconds watched), completion status, quiz assessment scores, and offline license expiration timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for educational delivery and platform security purposes:

To authenticate your student identity and verify enrolled course access.
To lock account credentials to your single authorized hardware device to prevent credential sharing.
To resume video playback and track completed units across study sessions.
To issue cryptographic time-limited licenses for offline lecture viewing.
To notify administrators of critical runtime security integrity violations (e.g. active screen-recording or debugging).

3. Third-Party Disclosures and Tracking

AZ Learn does not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose personal student data to commercial advertisers or data brokers. All video chunks, documents, and encryption keys are delivered directly through dedicated edge infrastructure without third-party tracking cookies or ad networks.

4. Data Retention and Storage Security

Student records, course enrollments, and progress telemetry are vaulted in encrypted serverless databases. Data is retained for the duration of your active educational enrollment. Inactive accounts may be archived after graduation or curricular completion.

5. Account Deletion & Data Removal

Students have the unconditional right to request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time, directly through the native application or via the interactive web form below.
